The FDA banned all ephedra containing drugs because it has been linked to heart attacks. Ephedra has since been replaced with vitamins like thiamin, riboflavin, and folic acid which all increase energy and metabolism.

Side Effects

There are many side effects associated with hypothalamus diet pills. Because the appetite suppressants stimulate the sympathetic nervous system, they can cause blood pressure and heart rate to rise. Minor side effects include headache, dry mouth, and insomnia.

Most hypothalamus diet pills have been shown to help dieters lose a few more pounds over a short period of time, usually six months or less.
